Our industry-leading training program is designed to get you on the road with a CDL Class A license in as few as two-three weeks. As a student in our Van Expedited trucking division, you’ll be primed for success at CRST, we’ll give you more miles, better pay, and the support you need during this critical period. Fact is, trucking is an evolving industry with plenty of regulations. We recognize this, and our training aims to get you on the road safely, legally, and reliably with a clean license.
Every year, we sponsor hundreds of students at certified truck driving schools across the country. Classes are held weekly and usually last just three weeks. Approval is based on your driving, work, and criminal history, not your credit history. With our Free Class A CDL program, CRST covers the CDL fees. Plus we offer two free meals per day during training and $40 per week stipend during school.

Option 1: 100% sponsored training at an accredited school with one of the shortest employment commitments in the industry.
Option 2: $6,500 initial price gets you top-quality training, higher wages, and a competitive sign-on bonus.
We’ll start you off with a four-day driver orientation program at one of our major full-service terminals in Cedar Rapids, IA, or Riverside, CA. You’ll learn our policies and procedures inside and out, then prove your knowledge and suitability via written tests, physical tests, and a road test. You’ll also meet some of the staff that will be critical to your career success.
Once your training and orientation is complete, you’ll hit the ground running with an intensive 28-day driving session with an experienced driver. We believe that it’s in everyone’s best interest to get you certified and earning as soon as possible. After the first 28 days, you’ll be paired with another experienced driver to solidify your transition to the CRST team.
